CDGDC Delegation participated in the 2011 NAFSA Conference

With the approval of MOE, a CDGDC delegation headed by Mr. WANG Lisheng, the Deputy Director General, participated in the 2011 NAFSA Conference from May 31 to June 3 in Vancouver, Canada.

 
In May 31 Mr. Wang Lisheng, Mr. Tom Melcher, the Chairman of Zinch China, and Mr. Parke Muth, the Associate Dean of Admission of University of Virginia, jointly hosted a session namely ‘Tools of understand fraudulent documents from China’ in which CDGDC delegation introduced the measures Chinese government takes to strengthen qualification management and combat against fraudulent qualifications as well as the information about China qualification verification service and the case study on frauds. More than 240 audiences attended the session.
 
In June 2 the delegation participated in the post fair ‘Updates on country and regional higher education policies’ and showed the significant role played by CDGDC verification service in the field of international people mobility quality assurance. The CDGDC post received a lot of attentions.
 
During the Conference Mr. Wang Lisheng met with Ms. Caryn Danz, the Branch chief of Bureau of educational and cultural affairs of U.S. Department of State, Ms. Margit Schatzman, the President of ECE, Ms. Mariam Assefa, the Executive Director of WES, and Mr. Anne Dwane, the CEO of Zinch.
