An Introduction To The Special Funding Program
Provided For The Authors Of National Outstanding Dissertations

In order to execute the plan of educational development from year 2003 to 2007 and encourage outstanding talents to make more creative achievements, the Ministry of Education has sets up a special fund for authors of outstanding dissertations and employed effective management of the funding program. It is required that only the author of outstanding dissertation who is working in the institutions of higher education can apply for the fund. Each applicant should apply for the fund within 5 years after his/her dissertation has been awarded national outstanding dissertation.

Since 1999, the Academic Degree Committee is responsible for the application and evaluation of the program. The application and evaluation are carried out in the second half of each year. The Ministry of Education of PRC has authorized xxx projects. Concerning the funded project, annual report and ending report should be timely presented.
